Adults who choose to see that good is still present, sense God’s presence. With eyes to see and ears to hear, there is fresh awareness the Baby brings good, kind magic every day . . . even in this broken, troubled world.

Yet, sometimes – even with good still present – this holiday unveils realities from deeper levels of your heart. From stress to depression to sadness to fatigue to unexpected bad news to lost hope. You may have made some good long-term decisions to wield your character. Maybe you put lots of energy into practicing certain graces. You might be one of those rare people who has exercised admirable manners in daily challenges.

Then suddenly, life treats you quite badly. Another person or group mistreats you. Perhaps you lose in a business arrangement. Maybe your health takes an unexpected plunge. Or you just might be stuck living, long-term, with someone that is sour. Whatever happens, it is possible for you to stay on the “sweet end” of the spectrum. THIS ELECTION!!

This has been the most difficult election process I remember. usa-1327105_1280  So many concerning things leading up to this week of voting. I think the best one-liner is now: VOTE: prayerfully!

Honestly, that is part of the frustration with this election. BUT – I’ve been reminded there are still some things we have a lot of control over, pertaining to governing powers.
